Turquoise and Green Enamel Earrings with Silver Leaf

Handmade kiln-fired enamel disc earrings with sterling silver leaf.
Discs of copper sheet have been enamelled in a mix of blue and green opaque and transparent enamels to create a shiny turquoise -green finish. Sterling silver leaf shapes lightly textured with a leaf and stem pattern hang in front of the enamel discs making a pretty contrast in colour and texture. The backs of the earrings are also enamelled in a black shade.
The earrings are teamed with handmade sterling silver earwires. The silver has been given an antique patina.
